APPENDIX A: STARTER COLLECTIONS FOR OVRs
========================================
Introduction
This appendix provides curated starting points for instructors, implementing the RSS/social bookmarking framework across seven social science disciplines, plus a cross-disciplinary collection.
Each collection identifies teaching-relevant Online Video Repositories (OVRs) selected to represent diverse types of sources and content approaches, with sufficient collections to demonstrate their scope and substance.
Selection Criteria
Diverse types and sources (institutional, individual scholar, independent creator)
Sufficient collection size to demonstrate scope and substance
Using These Collections
Each entry identifies the repository by name with a brief description. The SBS URL column remains blank for later completion. Most YouTube channels offer RSS feeds accessible by adding the channel ID to: https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=[CHANNEL_ID]. RSS reader applications like Feedly can typically subscribe directly via the channel URL.
